Full of Grace

1.  That the pathology on some suspicion moles I had removed came back clear, as did my latest oncology blood work. *sigh of relief*

2.  The fragrance of a soft spring rain.

3.  Having the happy pleasure of meeting and sharing a meal with the amazing and soulful Em of  Poetlandia

4.  The tranquility of washing dishes by hand.

5.  This headline -  Lesbian Lovers, Next Role for Cate Blanchett

     Oh, be still my heart.

  1. Wonderful health news!

I love to wash dishes by hand too. I find it akin to meditation.

  3. Yay! Yay for these test results! And the rest, too, but a big sigh of relief for that.

    So cool to meet Em!

I'll trade you the tranquility of washing dishes by hand for hanging laundry on the clothesline. That's my zen housework.

    Cate Blanchett? Sure!
Spring rain? Had enough, thank you...

    1. Wow, you just triggered some warm childhood memories of helping my mom hang the laundry outside. Personally, as much as I like the smell of sun dried clothes, I don't like the stiffness. But I think I will install a clothesline at the lake house. It would be great for towels and such. And now I am off to buy some clothespins. Just the word is making me smile : )

    2. I hang virtually all of our laundry, but then bring it in and tumble it for a few minutes. We still get the all the benefits of line drying plus the softness of the machine drying.

And, just because it may seem impossible, given my location, I have an indoor clothesline and two racks. I can take it outside weather permitting.

    3. I did wonder about hanging clothes outside to dry in a place with perpetual rain : )

  4. Yes, big sigh of relief. It must be difficult living from test to test.

I have no choice but to wash my dishes by hand. The thrill is gone.

Does Cate's husband know of your obsession?

    1. It is annoying living from test to test and the waiting for the results. But it is what life is now . . . and it could be a lot worse. I am grateful for the health care I am able to receive and the ability to pay for it.

Unfortunately not even Cate herself knows of my obsession.

Yay for clear pathology and yay for getting to meet you! It was lovely.

I'm trying to think of something that dish washing/hanging laundry/zen houseworky and I'm coming up with nothing.

    I'm not very domesticated. ;)

    1. It's funny that I never do the dishes at home where we have a dishwasher but I love to do them at the lake. Maybe it's just the general serenity of the place.
