Are you folks watching this? I don't watch much television but my daughter turned me onto to it and I couldn't stop. I particularly enjoyed Lia Delaria as Big Boo. Many, many years ago I met Lia a few times through a friend. She was doing standing up comedy on the lesbo circuit back then and was hysterical even in our casual meetings. She is also a phenomenal jazz singer, something I wish they had showcased some on the show.
2. Shark week finally over. While I watched Orange on my computer my family was watching the sharks. I am so tired of looking up to see severed limbs, bloody water, and teeth. So grateful that only happens once a year.
3. Birthday parties for 1 year olds. So cute.
4. In this the last week they will be together for awhile, my girls have taken to sleeping together at night. I love that even though they are so different in temperament and personality, they are still so close. I hope they always remain this way.
5. That my favorite restaurant by our lake house has changed their pizza menu to include this last item!
Another gift from the universe.
Life is just so damned good!
Your Full of Grace posts are always so filled with fun and joy . . . and Nutella : )
ReplyDeleteI think I may have a serious problem with Nutella : )
DeleteLove it! I love all of this and hope and pray that my two are eventually as close as your two (it's a hope I harbor secretely as they try to maim and disfigure one another in the back of the car on nearly every single car ride...)
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong - my daughters fight. OMG the before school wars about who is wearing who's favorite shirt, etc. So glad those days are over. But they will also walk through fire for each other and I think that is the more important thing.
DeleteI may be the only lesbian on the planet not watching Orange is the New Black. But a friend has Netflix (I don't) and said she would re-watch it with me. I never watch the sharks. I wish I had 1 year olds in my life. And a sister. And Nutella. Well, at least I can get the Nutella. See ya : )
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Orange and the Nutella. I think everyone should have a sister. If not a biological one, then a sister-friend. I couldn't get through life without mine.

DeleteThis all sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen OITNB (like Kim, I thought I was the only lesbian not watching!) but ALL of my friends are raving about it. I'll have to figure out the Netflix dealio and watch.
Enjoy the Nutella pizza! Sounds ridiculously delicious!
xoxo
Prepare to give up 13 hours straight of your life. And then come back and tell me who you are most like.
ReplyDeleteThe Nutella pizza is ridiculously delicious. And no fat and no calories either! How do they do that?
Not sure how the nutella on pizza would be - but our daughter would eat it in a heartbeat! She is so giddy when I pack it in her lunch when she is at work... And yes - she was sitting on the couch licking it off a spoon the other day when I got home.
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched the show either - but did watch The Fosters - liked that one...
I love it when they sleep together and get along - but you always know the opposite is coming! Helps when they all go to different schools in different parts of the state!
Enjoy your pizza!
Wood fired pizza? Sounds great. And I have heard the Orange is good too, but I fear that we already have too many television shows that we are hooked on....I don't dare add another.
ReplyDeleteNot watching "Orange" (yet) either--have watched YouTube(d) scenes, though. I think I would enjoy a Nutella pizza but alas, must stay away from nut products. Yay for the closeness of sisters.
